‘‘Going to school is the best anti-poverty, anti-famine, anti-disease and anti-unemployment program there is. As well as boosting jobs and GDP, the evidence is clear that education will help countries take advantage of our transition from an unbalanced global economy to one with multiple drivers of growth.”
~ Gordon Brown Convener of the High Level Panel for Education for Global Campaign for Education Springs of Africa provides tuition and basic supplies for vulnerable children, opening the door to education and a bright future.
In slum and rural areas where students cannot afford tuition fees, teachers are obviously still needed and need to be paid. Springs of Africa provides allowances for qualified and certified teachers who are providing quality education to the most vulnerable children.
Lunches and Feeding
For many children, a meal at school will be the only decent meal they have the whole day. All of the Springs of Africa schools* provide breakfast and/or lunch for students. Springs of Africa subsidizes the cost of this basic provision.
